Hello!
I am Mahla, and I am a passionate painter and interior designer
who is dedicated to creating meaningful, and inspiring artwork.
I was born (in 1989) and grew up in Tehran- Iran. After completing my master’s degree at Tehran Azad University, I started my Ph.D. in Architecture – Urbanism design, I worked in Tehran for more than a decade in many fields as a Designing Preparing sketches, Interior Designing, Rendering, Overseeing or leading Architectural presentations or as Primarily responsible for coordinating and implementing detailed in various architectural, design and construction projects.
Painting and Arts were my constant companion during this time. Even since I was 13, I painted with watercolor and gouache and in 2013 I had a solo Exhibition in one of the galleries in Tehran – Iran. But it wasn’t until 2018 that I packed up all my courage and made my dream come true to work as a freelance artist and I made my community as a painter. I created my first Instagram account with the name @cuctusdesign.by.mahlaz. I’ve painted on canvas, fabric, clothes and any home accessories. After a while, I became more serious than before and began again working in the art world with my name. So, I created my second account on Instagram with the name @mahlazolghadri.art
after all this happens, I started to be on the lookout for my favourite artists on Instagram and YouTube and follow and support other guys because I believe when you support and care for other people its returns to you in many aspects of your life and if the people around you improve, you can improve too.
I think every artist changes their ideas a lot in their own way but as an artist, at this moment, I have two main directions in my art. On the one hand, the abstract free painting with acrylic paint in large format on canvas, sometimes I mixed it with gold and silver leaves. on the other hand, I also like to deal with the cubism style which is a prominent turning point in all stages of the evolution of modernist art.
To know me better, I have to say, I keep my inner child alive by striving to keep learning, exploring, and connecting with others. And keep my inner maturity alive by teaching everything I have and saying everything I’ve benefited from to others.
